Due to our schedule over the next few weeks, we decided to put our Christmas Tree today. This is the earliest I have EVER put up a tree.

Mozilla Labs Raindrop
What is Raindrop? It's no longer "a single droplet of rainwater that has just fallen or is falling from the sky" from Wiktionary.
It's a new project from Mozilla, the people who brought you Firefox and Thunderbird.
From their site:
Raindrop is an experiment in designing for today’s messaging habits by collecting conversations from important messaging sources (email, twitter, …), understanding them, and organizing them for the user based on this understanding.
Here is a video they put out.
Here are some other resources about Raindrop:
Mashable
PCWorld
TechCrunch
ReadWriteWeb

This is the newest site from 37signals.com makers of Basecamp.com.
From the site:
They have free and pro ($99/mo) options.Haystack is a site where web designers (firms and freelancers) can answer the three basic questions a client typically asks at the beginning of a search:
- What does your work look like?
- Where are you located?
- What’s your typical budget range?
Free listings includes 1 image and contact info.
Pro listings includes a larger interactive display ad, up to 6 large images, placement above free ads, and a spot for your logo.

I also signed up for the service, the free option.
I believe this could be a really useful service. However, I don't think I will be paying for the Pro account unless I KNOW I am getting business from them.

Bobby goes Beta
After reading Scott Magdelein's post about switching to Blogger over the tons of other options, I figured I would try this out. I have been, and probably will continue to use my Wordpress site. I will also continue to promote it. But this seems like a really good alternative as well.
